When I'm in pain, (I have a forty-five-year-old back injury to deal with on a daily basis), I measure its intensity by
the number of cocktails it takes to make it go away. Hence:

llllllll= The Way I Expect to Feel Tomorrow
lllllll = The Way I have Been Feeling Today
llllll= What Yardwork Does To My Body
lllll= A Trip in the Car Does this to Me
llll = Just Going Anywhere for a Walk
lll =  Going To Bed Every Evening
ll =  This means it's an easy day
l =  And This Is What Others Do

I'm drug sensitive, so that leaves only alcohol for easing the daily pain.
